English language challenges

My experience with the english classes are good. I did the the course of english starter A the last semester and now I´m in the course of pre intermediate A, and I have to say that I have learned a lot in this subject. My basis with this subject was very bad, because in the school i didn´t learn much about this subject. So, this lessons have allowed me to learn more theory and do the post helped me to how redact texts in english. Also, in my career sometimes I read text in english and that helped me to understand better this language. I think the most difficult part of learn a different language is how to talk that language, and I´m very very bad with that. I think that if I see movies without subtitles that can help and, obviously, speak in this lenguage. Sometimes I talk with my friends in english, but just jokingly. I use english almost every day but in simple things like read the comments of pictures that I see on Instagram or something else and when I search music or a band in th...

Changes to my study programme

I like the subjects that I have to this day, because the subjects are about several things. But obviously are things that I change if I could. We read a lot, but the vast majority are texts made by men and I think that is not good because there a lot of women that write things about the things that we are seeing in class, that is the first thing that I change. I would like have more subjects of history, like  Latin American history (I really want a subject about that) and more subjects about philosophy. But that are things that I like, I supposed the majority don´t agree with me haha. I would like to have more time to do things outside the university, the class and the texts that we have to read consume all the time (and I don´t read all the things that I must). Also, I travel sometimes to see my family so the time is nothing. I think the infrastructure is good, but I would like to have more green areas to spend the time there in the breaks or sit with the friends to study or some...

Personal opinion about some things

What is your opinion about tatoos? I love tatoos, I consider the tatoos as a very beautiful kind of art that we can have in our skin. When we draw a lines in the body we can decide the style, the design, the colors, etc. Everything that we can imagine. The sad part of this is what will think the people about a tattooed person, for that is the reason sometimes I doubt about made me more tatoos. I think the tatoos are a form to express with the body what we have inside and these can show a part of the identity of the person. What is your opinion about women in the military?   What I think about the  women  who do the military service or the  women  who choose entry to the armed forces, is the same that I have about the  men  that do that, but maybe the language that I need  to use to say what I think isn't appropriate for this academic post.                        ...

TV shows and series

I´m a fan of watching series, I think that I spend a lot of time seeing series so is very hard choose one as my favorite. In this occasion I choose the television comedy "Malcolm in the middle" because I love this serie since I was a child. To these day I keep watching this serie, sometimes when I take a break of the studies I see one or two chapters to distract my mind because the serie is very enjoyable and isn´t dense. The serie shows a dysfunctional family and the problems that they have every day, the main character is Malcolm, who has a very high IQ and he have to deal with her family. I like this serie because I think it shows a reality but in a very funny way. Others series that I like are Game of thrones, Bojack Horseman, Maniac, Big mouth, Friends, How I meet your mother and others.I don´t like a kind of serie in particular. I hope to see soon "Chernobyl" because I have heard that is a very good serie, even better than Game of thrones or Breaking Bad, this...

Postgraduate studies

I don´t like this kind of question because I think we have many things to think nowadays like ¿I really like my career? or anything else, but maybe is necessary think about the future sometimes. I really don´t have an idea about what postgraduate studies I would like to do, but if I take the mention of social anthropology maybe I would like to do a postgraduate studies about education, child protection or maybe Latin American studies, something close to the history. But first I have to decided what mention I want.  I would like to do a postgraduate abroad because I think that is a great  experience, above all stay in other country with people that have different customs. I hope do that someday.  The downside of this is: the postgraduate studies are very expensive and win a grant is difficult because you must fulfill a great number of requirements. My future job

I really don´t in what I would to work, but with my career I can do many things, there are anthropologist everywhere. For example, the anthropologist can work in personal projects, in an ONG, doing class, etc. The things that interest me is have time to do things that I like, not depend on anyone and have money to concerts and travel. I don´t care a lot for what kind of work I want. But probably I would feel comfortably working with people, helping people and feel that my work makes the life of others better. I like children, so I think I would like to work in themes like child protection issues. I like everything that have relation with other cultures, I love that but i don´t know what kind of job have that.  Maybe I will work in a ONG or doing public politics, I don´t know. I also like environmental issues, but I think I don´t have to think a lot this, first I have to take the title. The first is the first. My bucket list

I think I am a person what is happy with a little,  I hope to live quiet one day, without pressure or things that stress me, probably in a house far from the city with animals and a lot of nature. But, before that, I guess that I have some things to do. Now I am study anthropology, I like my career and I hope to do things related to that. What I want to do most is travel, hopefully know all the countries and live with others ways of life and cultures. I would like to write a book for kids some day and illustrate it with my watercolor paints. The book would teach some historical or archeological things, in this way, this themes would be interesting for them from a young age. In my short life I have done many things that I proposed, like enter the university, learn instruments, learn more about literature, etc. So I think that I am able to get what I want, obviously if I am persistent and if I work for get that. I supposed that we have to make our life worthwhile
